Ok so I really like Bella Stamps and thought I was keeping to my word to enter a challenge and post before the end of the month - I made a card and sent in in....guess what?...I got my very own personal email telling me "so sorry too late!" of course they do this every week, I just can't get it together!

Well I think it is time to get back into doing a regular post or participating in a challenge....it has been a very long time since I posted!

I guess I need to challenge myself!

So I'm going to find a challenge and post something before the end of July......

Love Frog

Here is a non traditional card for Valentines (cuttlebug spot challenge #14) ~ background is hard to see in the post but it has been embossed using cuttlebug stripes and embossed at the bottom "with love" Frog is pop dotted from the page and embossed with spots n dots - The cuts are cricut - PDDU & PS - the eyes are from my LSS.

I might still add a cute crown to the frog!

Cuttlebug Spot Challenge #10...use a STAR...

Well this was a challenge for me to use a star - I don't think I've ever used the shape.

I used Bazzil bling for the card stock.

I diecut DCWV metallic card stock with cricut using doodlecharms and then embossed with the spots and dots folder. Stamp is a bella - Merrybella and I don't have a decent set of markers, I just used my staedtler lumocolor, which are really not for card making....

So I did it - my card with a star!

My Very First BELLA Stamps!

I have been looking at all the Bella stamps lately and I really love them - they are so cute! I don't own a set of copics or any fancy pencils - just a set of crayolas (...Dear Santa....)so I did my best.

Two ladies that I work with are retireinng at the end of the month - and I wanted a special card for each of them.

I had fun with Cosmobella and Huggybellas ~ hope you like them.

Challenge...Emboss Paper Flowers

Well who would ever think to emboss paper flowers! Not me that's for sure! Here is the card I made for the challenge. I think the cut I used is Cricut - beyond birthdays and home accents. My paper is bazzill and I embossed flowers and background using script folder, I also used the border folder for the 'with love' on the bottom. Added a little bit of bling! TFL

Cuttlebug Spot Challenge

Well here is my card for the challenge to actually make a pop up card! The challenge is from Nilda, here is the blog - go have a look: http://www.thecuttlebugspot.blogspot.com/ If I can make the card - anyone can! I followed the instructions from the tutuorial on splitcoaststampers.

I used bazzill card stock, cuttlebug dog & border embosser for the dots, the stamp is from great impressions.

Cuttlebug Metallic Challenge #5

Happy Hallowe'en ~ this is my first post to a challenge. It is a challenge for Cuttlebug and I've added the link to my blog. I don't get to post my cards nearly often enough but I'll try and do better.

The challenge was to emboss metallic.

My card is on bazzill ~ the metallic is copper from my LSS and sorry I don't know what kind it is.

I used the CB Spiderweb for the background & Creepy for the spideer.

Stamped on the metallic using Stazon ~ and there you have it!

Ok after being on the Cricut message board and learning how people are so willing to share their creations and cut files ~ I've been inspired to create my own blog!
