Pin Up Day 240 @ 365 Cards

The challenge for this day at 365 Cards was to use a pin on your card - I wondered where everyone got there great pins from...after checking out Glorias blog - I learned that Rose made them - they are adorable and such a great embli for a card!  A few google searches, 5 days later - I made a pin and can now post my card for day 240!
Oh I should add I checked out the kits for sale at  Mac Mae Card Kits - I purchased one and the kit is fantastic! Some of the paper I used to make this card. The cardstock is Bazzill and the paper Basic Grey - Wisteria both from the kit.

231 - Imagine This: the sky......

Here is my card for todays challenge at 365 Cards - sky inspired card....with Hallowe'en just around the corner, bats in the sky won out over snow flakes! Everything I used was from my stash and I don't recall where it all came from! Have a great Saturday ~ thanks for stopping by!

230 ~ Shape Up!

The challenge at 365 cards is to shape up - use a semi circle, one or many....
I have used a mm glitter clear frame on my card - Bazzill Bling base & circle along with some ribbon.  I did not put a sentiment on this yet but will add one to the front later.

229 - Color Scheme

Color combo challenge at 365 Cards - very pretty colors are the same as what I see the challenge colors to be  ~ I found the paper in a Spring DCWV paper stack - there was a wide blue stripe but with the magic of copics - I was able to change it to brown. Colored some flowers to match.
Hope you like it ~ Thanks for stopping by!

#228 ~ Same, but different.....

Today at 365 Cards the challenge is to use two papers, same pattern, different color.  Here is my card BUT this was my DH's idea!  I want him to scrapbook all of our family pictures with me - he is very creative and doesn't have a creative hobby - I showed him todays challenge along with some Basic Grey Errie collection and asked him "what would you do?" - he said the paper reminded him of turkey based on his idea, this is our card!
Hope you like it, we'll see if I get more ideas in the future ~

Day 227 ~ In Motion

Hi Everyone ~ I don't have a card with anything that moves but I did make a card using CTMH stamp set with a runner....hope that it meets the challenge for a "in motion" card.  Nothing fancy, used the threading water punch, some patterned paper and a heart brad.  This card is for the challenge at 365 cards.

223 ~ shadow

Well I just finished posting todays card and tomorrows challenge is up - since my desk is almost covered with paper and ribbon and more paper ~ thought I would attempt the challenge for day 223 at 365 cards which is to have a shadow on your card.  Well that is a challenge my best attempt is my "shadow"  Copic Marker C1 - cool  I used Tim Holtz distressed ink for the stamps and coloured and added a shadow on the side of the hearts - pretty basic card and it turned out to be a nice thank you card. Thought I would blow the dust off my corner rounder for this one too!

Happy Thanksgiving to all of my Canadian friends!

222 - 5 Elements

365 Cards challenge is to pick 5 thats it thats all! So I have Bazzill card stock as my base and Basic Grey Erie and some scraps of paper, some ribbon and a big brad from my collection of big brads!I used the MS punch - think it is called gooey to do the layers at the bottom - I stayed with 5.  (as usual my pic is a bit crooked!)

220 ~ In Stitches

In Stitches...would have posted earlier but took me a while to thread the needle!  Todays challenge was to add cross stitching to your card - as much as you wanted to.  Check out the challenge at 365 Cards it was fun to stitch, I've never done this before. Bazzill card stock used for the base and the black - the background was embosses with swiss dots and the cake is a pen & ink sticker by Mrs Grossmans.

Here is my card ~ thanks for stopping by!

216 ~ Ad Inspired .....

Here is my take on the ad inspired challenge @ 365 Cards today ~ must be in the air because it reminded me of trick or treat bags!
Bazzill is the card base and everything else is just from my stash of papers - I think it is DCWV Fall Glitter Matt Stack ('08), cuttlebug for spiders.
