This is a fun little challenge. You can go to Digichick and check out the challenge A New You They have even provided this great template to download for free - I'm sure you can find a tutorial on their site on how to work with templates (...ah if I can do it ~ you can do it!!)
I have been teaching myself through some self paced (very slow!) on line classes available at Jessica Sprague.
The template is from Livybug Creations.
The paper that I used is from Jackie Nelson of Jacabean - thank you Jackie!
Thanks for stopping by ~ enjoy the rest of your weekend!
Oh don't forget tomorrow is sketchy sunday @ 356 Cards (seems like the only one I get to these days!)

Super Sketchy Sunday Day 35....
Great sketch going on today over at 365 Cards You know me, I usually say they are so hard - todays sketch was not quite the challenge that last Sunday was !
Here is the sketch that Pam posted:
I stuck to the sketch the best that I could. I used bazzill bling for the base and just did some faux stitching on the card - the pattern paper I think is cosmo cricket - the shoe and tag are cricut cuts - the shoe, tag and background is core color coredinations I embossed some of it and used one side for tag the other for the shoe - I finished this off with some smooch and some pearls.
Thanks so much for stopping by ~ Hope you had a wonderful Easter!

...another
Here is another page I created. The elements and paper are from Studio Gypsy from her great set called Quirky - I haven't had the chance to play around with it until now ~ I think this works! The photo was taken by Classic White Photography, Lynn will be the photographer at our kids wedding!

Learning to Digital Scrapbook
Surprise! It's not a card ~ it is another digi scrapbook page. I've been taking a self paced class at Jessica Sprague called Up and Running. I wanted to learn the basics of Photo Shop Elements just to help me crop my pictures for scrapbooking - well one thing led to another! I'm learning and it's also really fun. I haven't printed off any pages yet which is still something I'm not sure I would like. I love paper and really like to see the texture and look of it - but then the other part I don't get about traditional scrapbooking is you stick all that texture into a page protector and flatten it down anyway...so what is the point?....
Hmmm...I guess the real point is to preserve the memories in whatever way, shape or form you can!
Enjoy your day and thanks for stopping by!
